ah best movie iv seen in a loooong while. such a treat!

I somewhat disagree with the critic's review. ok sure as critics they have to be a bit too picky but other all i thought Avatar was one of the best movies I have seen in a while.

sure its an obvious storyline, very much on the same wavelength as Dancing with Wolves, but i dont think it gets old. rather in avatar one is reminded of the horrible things humanity has and is still doing and its stupid destructive need to dominate everything especially that which it does not understand and it fears. it emphasises the point that we seriously need to get back into touch with nature if we're not already doomed to destroy ourselves.

apart from the deep msg. as a film the graphics are spectacular. i first watched it in 2D and found it brilliant, not at all 'flat'and dull like the critics said. though the 3D features give it a boost.

i truly enjoyed the new world that was created.. the way the plants react to touch and the creatures

other all its a film i definitely would like to own in the future and to those out there wondering whether to see it or not i say go and simply dont be as picky as the critics n enjoy the ride n rush the film gives you



on the other hand i'm surprise DA artists havent been inspired by it. I did a search and so far could only find a few drawings :/ shame
